Renaissance Jacket

1210

Jacket inspired by a doublet worn by the Swedish nobleman Erik Sture, when he was murdered by King Erik XIV of Sweden and his soldiers in 1567. The
jacket were preserved and are now on display in Uppsala Cathedral.
The jacket is made with 100% merino yarn in two different thicknesses, creating a surface structure.  Jacquard knitting binds the multi-coloured threads on the back side of the jacket, creating a double-sided fabric.
The jacket should be carefully hand-washed, and left on a towel to dry.
